I have ordered numerous edible arrangements from this store, but unfortunately, I will never patronize this business again because of their store associate, Chloe, aka "Karen." I placed an order for an edible arrangement to be picked up on Mother's Day. My husband drove 45 minutes from Clayton to this Edible Arrangement location only to be greeted with a horrible attitude. They first give my husband the wrong order, when my husband went back in to inform them, he was given the wrong order, they insisted this was the right order. I had to call the store myself for them to finally give my husband the correct order. When my husband arrived with the arrangement, it was disgusting. Please refer to the pictures. I contacted the store right away. Again, a rude associate answered, and I explained my situation and that I was willing to send pictures and that if she would just give me store credit, that would be sufficient to save me another 45-minute ride. She rudely told me that I had to bring the arrangement back and it had to be uneaten. As if I was desperate enough to eat an overly ripped, nearly rotten arrangement. Nevertheless, my mother and I drove another 45 minutes to the store. I explained my situation again to the same rude, silver-dyed hair "Karen" and asked if she could replace the arrangement with fresh fruit. She told me it would be a 45-minute to an hour wait. I explained to her that I could not wait because it was Mother's Day and I had already wasted time with this issue. I asked for a refund. She insisted that it was non-refundable. I asked for store credit, she told me that I would have to come back on Wednesday for store credit because "Monday and Tuesday are still considered a holiday." By the way, I asked for a manager and/or owner, Chloe aka "Karen's" replied, "She had to leave for the day due to a family emergency." Then she rudely asked me to step to the side so she could take care of other customers. As things started to get heated with arguing, a nice Asian man, John, came from the back and asked if he and I could speak outside. He apologized for all the commotion and told me he would have a fresh arrangement for me in 30 minutes. I agreed to come back and proceeded into the store to get my mom so we could leave. As we began to leave, Chloe, aka "Karen," sarcastically waved and said, "byeeee," which at that point, I went off on her and told her how immature and stupid she was. So, Chloe, aka, "Karen" did what Karens do to blacks, she called the police. A few minutes later the Cary police arrived, and my mother and I were able to explain the situation to him. The police replied, "We received a call that you tried to spit on her." Typical "Karen" to tell a lie to weaponize the police because I'm black and she thought it was going to turn ugly. Anyway, after we finished laughing and chatting with the police officer, the manager, John came out and apologized again to my mom and I. The police explained I wanted a refund and John asked if I could come back the next day to receive a refund. After we finished enjoying our friendly conversation with the Cary police, we left. The next day, I went back to the store and thanks to Christian and John for issuing my refund and they both apologized, again, for the commotion. John even gave my mother a "Mother's Day" balloon for our troubles. Again, thank you to John and Christian for your kindness in making things right. I advise you to find another associate to replace Chloe, aka "Karen," because she just lost you my business.
First bad review I've left in my life on any platform. My parents ordered us an arrangement. It came with a popped balloon (which the delivery guy took back), rotten flowers, and no vase (even though one was pictured). They offered no apologies and insisted the balloon popped on a cactus in our yard (we have no cactus). They will send more flowers much later, but would not refund. It's an absolutely wild hill to die on. I almost admire it. Check out the review where they called the cops on one of their customers for more fun reading.
Worst customer service experience ever!!! I placed an order on Monday evening to be delivered the next day. The order was tallied up(in relation to what I ordered and the delivery fees for where it was going) and I placed my order. Around 14 hrs later I saw an extra $10.73 charge to my debit card without a phone call or email. I called the store 8minutes after the charge came through(9:30)and inquired about the charge. The employee(manager)told me it was a delivery fee. I was already charged a delivery when I placed my order. I asked to cancel the order because $20 for a $29 item is ridiculous. The manager said NO because the item was already made and placed on the truck. That was a LIE because when you place an order it allows you to track it(keep that in mind).I asked to refund me the extra delivery fee since that was not the price I agreed to when I placed the order last night. She kept repeating that sometimes the delivery will recalculate based upon the distance. I understand that but that should be done BEFORE I place the order. I asked if anything could be done and she refused to offer any type of credit or something to make the situation right. I have probably ordered from EA around 30+ times I’d guess. Absolutely foolish to lose a loyal customer over $10.73 when they did nothing wrong and you could easily rectify the situation but refused to. Never raised my voice. Wrote a complaint and didn’t even receive a callback. About the lie,I took screenshots after I got off the phone during the “track your order” process. The order could’ve been cancelled because it wasn’t on the truck like she claimed. It was being MADE at 11:15!!!! All I asked was to make the situation right. Like I said, I never yelled or cursed.
Poor customer service after placing an online order for 114.00 I was told same day delivery wasn’t an option even though it clearly gave me the option for same day delivery, after telling her my confirmation stated same day delivery she stated they stop ALL deliveries at 2 pm. So my question is how are customers supposed to know this especially if it’s NOT ONLINE and it’s still processing as if your order will be delivered same day?? Sorry but I asked her to cancel my order and won’t be spending my money here anymore due to poor customer service and the attitude I received over the phone for asking a simple question.
Changing my review… At first, I didn’t feel that I received the best customer service. On the day of the scheduled delivery, my items were delivered earlier than expected and were beautiful and fresh. The team also followed up with me to clear up any misunderstanding. I appreciate all of their hard work and dedication at this location. I definitely will be shopping here again. Thank you for making today special for my loved one.
