This is my favorite florist. They have done numerous arrangements for me. I live far away, so I love knowing that I can always rely on Sparta Florist to brighten my parent’s day when I can’t be there. They even recreated my Mom’s wedding bouquet for their 50th anniversary - it was beautiful. They always go above and beyond, and the arrangements are always gorgeous! My Dad is a huge gardener, so he is a flower connoisseur and has always been impressed. Thank you so much!

Delivery guy is great! He set up our flowers on our wedding arch and refused to take any payment for it. However, flowers were not what I ordered. I ordered my bridal bouquet here, along with the arch flowers, and the colors were all wrong. I sent a picture of the colors I needed and she said they would be the same as the picture. They weren’t and they ended up not matching the rest of the wedding decor. She also got the wedding date wrong and consequently the flowers looked older than they should’ve. Bouquet was also in a vase rather than ready for me to walk down the aisle with, we had to go buy ribbon to wrap it last minute. I understand if they are left in water to keep the flowers looking fresh but they could have at least let us know so we didn’t go 30 minutes out to buy ribbon 2 hours before our wedding. Lastly the bouquet was much smaller than I wanted even though prior to ordering I asked how big it would be to which she simply responded “big”. They are really nice people but overall I was disappointed on my big day. Pictures are included, theme was burnt orange shades, clearly no oranges were even included. Edit: Since the owner wants to be unprofessional and try to create a false narrative, I’ve added pictures of our text conversation. This took place after our initial call where I requested the service. I never missed a single call or text leading up to our wedding (why would I with something so important). This was our entire conversation and she never said anything about her “vendors not being able to provide” anything I was requesting. Additionally, I was told our arch piece would be 6 feet and clearly it wasn’t. It’s simply very disappointing that they refuse to take any accountability.

They ask you your price range and preferences. I got a beautiful bouquet for my anniversary for only 20 because I went without the vase but you couldn't tell I spent 20 dollars it looks like a 50 dollar product at 20 dollars. I highly recommend going here if I was local I'd come here everytime for flowers but I'm only visiting but if I could do a rating it would be 10/10!!!

I wasn’t planning to leave a review due to a series of unfortunate mistakes made by Sparta Florist. However after learning that Janet (the owner) thought attending the funeral that the arrangements were for and proceeding to tell people that “ a guy name Steven balled me out over flowers”. I’m more than happy to “ball” her out now since this is the kind of business she wants to run. Janet is at best a mediocre hobbyist who throws together flowers that look like she got from a discount rack. I called from the west coast to arrange floral sprays for a family funeral 5 days in advance. She told me she was the best of the best and “not to worry the 3 funeral sprays will be full and not skimpy” and “I do not want to boast but my work is great”. I can assure you her work is about the quality of a 10 year old kid and that’s being generous. I asked for 3 sprays with detailed reference images and specific directions. I simply asked if she could do them and how much. She gave me a quote of $75 a piece and assured me a half a dozen time that she could get everything I asked for and she had more than enough time. She sends me pictures the day of the funeral because she threw everything together the night before her words not mine... Disappointing to say the least. Firstly she calls me at 7am the day of the funeral and states “i ran out of flowers so i had to do a pot instead” even though I was assured two days prior she already had them in hand. The pictures looked nothing like what I asked for and then she replaced the largest of the sprays ordered with a potted plant because she can’t run a business apparently and plan for what is needed. She over promised and under delivered significantly. On top of that there were several mistakes from the order. She changed the colors, she omitted specific request for flowers, forgot banners that she even pushed for saying “my hand writing is the best and I can do anything you want it’s all custom!” She made a stressful and sad family event even more stressful. In addition she attended the funeral and proceeded to bad mouth me to my own relatives because I didn’t approve of the pitiful arrangements she threw together. Unprofessional, unorganized and under performing to say the least. Absolutely sad excuse of a local business owner that screwed up an order so badly. Rather than own a mistake and attempt to rectify it she proceeds to shoot herself in the foot. Bad taste and bad manners. Better luck going elsewhere. For reference the photos labeled A, B, C, D are what I asked for as well as the detailed text message and the following photos including the “pot” are what I got. I’m not saying they are awful (they’re atleast something) but they are far from the original ask. If she didn’t have the skill set to make what I ordered I would have rather been told that upfront than have my time and money wasted. I would have happily paid for someone who could deliver the quality I asked for.

I live out of town and I ordered a peace lily for my brother-in-laws funeral a few weeks ago. The gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful. My sister has sent me pictures of the peace lily and keeps telling me how beautiful it is and how it keeps growing pretty white blooms. I am so thankful that I chose Sparta Florist. I am a very satisfied customer and will certainly use them for all my floral needs in the future.
