My experience with Ray’s Florist, from a Mother of the Bride who is also a Professional Event Planner: Locally owned. Quality florals. Grown with optimum care. Artistic creations. Exemplary Service. Reliable Delivery. Pricing, in comparison to other florists in the area is competitive but not exorbitant. While doing a thorough comparative of all wedding specialty florists in and around the Asheville, NC area (for a destination wedding where we had zero relationship with floral businesses), I certainly had plenty of sticker shock quotes from other florists, not the case with Ray. A+ customer satisfaction: Because of Ray and his attentive and creative team, the florals at my daughter’s mid October wedding not only reflected the seasonal colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains (her color theme), but also helped to bring the nature aspect of the beautiful outdoors to life inside the venue, beautifully elevating the rustic elegance that framed all of her modern romantic wedding dreams. Ray accomplished our eclectic objectives with artistic simplicity - such a beautiful presentation with oohs and aahs from all the guests. There are a number of talented florists in the western North Carolina towns in and around Asheville who can rise to your floral occasion, but truly, you don’t have to look any further than Ray’s Florist for any type of floral needs you want created. This place came recommended by a friend. I needed flowers for my mother’s birthday so went in a couple days prior and didn’t particularly like anything already prepared in the case. I ordered flowers to be picked up on the day. They did a wonderful job and my mom says she has never received such a beautiful bouquet in her life! Thank you so much

Ray and his team were very easy to work with. Their products were just beautiful and everything we were looking for our wedding! They made the most beautiful greenery table runners, bouquets, pocket boutonniere, and pedestal arrangements for our ceremony! Ray needed little to no direction in understanding our vision and was on time for delivery and setup. They enhanced our already beautiful wedding venue and made all our flowers look so pretty!

Ray did an outstanding job with all florals for my daughter’s wedding in September 2025 at The Parker Mill. He truly exceeded our expectations— everything was perfect! He provided the white table runners, and the greenery, flowers, and candles all looked absolutely beautiful. The chandelier greenery & floral arrangement were breathtaking. Ray knew exactly what sizes and designs worked best for each area. You would be crazy not to use Ray! He’s gets back with you quickly, his staff is wonderful, and his pricing is reasonable. I just wished Ray’s Florist was in Alabama. He definitely gets an A+++ from us!

Ray's Florist was included for a bouquet and boutonniere with our Inclusive package for Castle Ladyhawke. I have to admit, I know little to nothing about flowers so this part of my wedding day was not as much of a priority as it is for other brides who know what flowers and such they want in their bouquet. I found some flowers I liked on pinterest, sent them to Ray and said I wanted something like that but that was in season and local, like it had grown out of the Castle Ladyhawke garden. And by golly, he understood the assignment to a tee. My bouquet was so beautiful and I am glad I got to give such a beautiful piece to the engaged couple I dedicated my bouquet to.
