I recently had the pleasure of GREAT customer service from Irene. Nice person who made quick work of my Western Union send and also answered my one vexing question about the Safeway app that I just couldn't puzzle out - saved me money!
If you are buying perishable groceries at this Safeway, check the dates carefully. I have talked twice to produce clerks about expired packages of produce. And when that didn't help (same stuff was still on the shelves the next day) I asked to speak to the store manager. Wasn't available and an assistant store manager promised to take care of it. Nothing changed. They don't seem to care, have apparently no process in place to remove expired food from their shelves and count on unsuspecting customers to buy it. See attached photos for some recent examples. Update (8/30/2025): clearly you don't have a process for removing expired stuff from your shelves. Lots of fresh fish and good selection of meat. Great spot to get some things to BBQ Clean and friendly area

This store feels like the kind of grocery store you should find in a winter/summer resort place. It has that look from the outside, and the energy on the inside. We map restrooms for our directory, and it was a good experience to find theirs, then grab some fruit to continue on to our next location. Good job Safeway!
