Penguin Flowers - Florist & Flower Delivery

Kiera was fantastic! We recently order flowers for our granddaughters sorority @ OSU! She was very helpful and professional with texting ideas about the arrangement. She shared photos and made suggestions to make the flowers beautiful. They have been delivered and the girls were absolutely delighted with how the look!!

I called to order a white flower boutonniere for my husband for our wedding day and was quoted $30, then asked for payment. Before paying, I asked what all comes with the boutonniere and I was told it would be white flowers with a ribbon. When I asked if I could remove the ribbon, the quoted price dropped to $15. I didn't appreciate that they weren't going to tell me that including a ribbon would change the price by $15, but I was glad I asked before paying over the phone. A week later on my wedding day, I had an issue with the flowers I ordered to the venue 30 minutes away in Monroe, so I called the shop to see if they could save the day 2 hours before they were set to close. My father-in-law was going to be stopping by the shop to pick up the boutonniere within the hour before heading to the venue, so I thought it was all falling into place. When I called, I calmly told them I wasn't picky and was looking for a medium-sized white bouquet for my wedding later that day to be picked up by a family member. The person I spoke with over the phone was clearly annoyed and told me if I couldn't be there in-person to pick out the flowers myself or send them a very clear picture of the specific flowers I wanted, then they "didn't feel comfortable moving forward with the ordering process over the phone, especially for a wedding." I had to ask for a method of contact to send them a picture to, but it felt like if I hadn't asked then they wouldn't have offered it to me. My bridesmaids and hair stylist who was working on my hair at the time all had their mouths on the floor when they heard how the conversation went down. I was again disappointed, but not surprised by how my first interaction with them went. Instead, my bridesmaids jumped into action and made do with what we had. To be fair, the boutonniere was great. But my experience with their customer service was the worst I've experienced. I know they likely didn't want to jump to help and not deliver 'a bride's vision,' but due to my situation I would have been happy with anything they could have put together. I try to only praise positive experiences with businesses on google reviews but I'm hoping this business has a softer heart for future emergency situations rather than turning people away when they have the opportunity to help (especially for a wedding).

I ordered flowers for an employee who was in the hospital and the florist called me to let me know that lilies are not allowed at the hospital. I appreciate the call, I don't know that most florists would do that. Thank you!

Penguin Flowers is great! Such helpful and friendly customer service. I called for same day delivery for my daughter’s opening night and they had them there by 1:00 and sent an email to me of the beautiful bouquet she got. I will definitely be using them for my flower deliveries. Thank you for helping me make her know I am thinking of her when I can’t be there in person .

When sending flowers to someone in a different town, the two main objectives are to order seamlessly for an on-time delivery, and that the person receives a bouquet that makes them feel loved and special. Penguin Flowers knocked both of these out of the park. Ordering online was extremely easy. I went with the daily special thinking that it might have in-season flowers and also to give the arranger more freedom to be creative. My wife, who was visiting family in Corvallis, received the flowers right on time and she absolutely loves the arrangement. Plus, the delivery person was super friendly and understanding when our dog went a little crazy trying to defend the property. Thank you for such great service!
