Fred Meyer

I made a purchase at this store for $25, consisting of only a bottle of Coke and a T-shirt. However, at the register I was charged $55. I only noticed this after I tapped my card. I was immediately directed to the returns desk, where I filled out a form. I was assured that the issue would be reviewed and that I would be contacted regarding a refund. However, no one has reached out to me, and I still have not received my money.

Store is fairly big and it’s kept clean and stocked. Most employees are friendly and helpful. The uniformed security guards are not the best at greeting customers. They kind of hold themselves in a way that makes a lot of people feel uncomfortable. The Fred Meyer security was outside helping cars back out of the parking spaces which was odd. But the store itself is a great Fred Meyer to shop at if you’re in the area.

Such a busy location. It was hard to find parking and getting inside was a disaster. Trying to avoid cars in weird-shaped parking lot was not so fun. Since the gateway location shut down, the pharmacy at this location took over half an hour. The reason I am still giving three stars though is because the customer service was good and I appreciated the technician at the pharmacy. The store was clean but it takes forever to get out the door with only one security guard marking all the receipts. It made me feel a bit trapped because the line for the pharmacy and the exit are right next to each other so it was crazy crowded there.

I always feel like when I go to this Fred Meyer‘s that people are watching me as if I’m gonna steal something like I’ve never stolen anything and I pay for my stuff and what really irritates me is when you ask the cashier if your reward point went through and they say yeah it did or your phone number or whatever and then you get home and check your receipt and realize it didn’t. That’s so irritating because I could’ve saved almost $35 but what do you expect Fred Meyer’s is really gone down the hill that’s for sure they need to retrain their younger customer service reps how to treat people with respect and dignity, and not make them feel like they’re stupid.

I ordered a delivery of food through the Fed Myers site to be delivered on the 6th of Dec 2025. I ordered and received a deodorant that was broken it wouldn't rise. The gentleman at customer service wasn't really listening to me, I just wanted to exchange, but he told me I would have to contact Instacart. I started to tell him "it's an exchange, they don't have it you do". Finally a very nice lady must have understood what I was trying to explain, and she took care of me. I'm only weighting this, because I feel like your employee's should be aware that if I purchase through your site, it should be like I purchased it in the store. Thanks for listening.
