I really didn’t want to leave this review because the customer service at this Safeway is truly outstanding—everyone is so kind, friendly, and always ready to assist! Unfortunately, I feel it’s important to share my experience because it involves customer health and safety. In one month, I’ve purchased three items that, while not expired, were clearly not safe to eat. Each time, the staff was incredibly understanding, quickly processed refunds, and assured me they’d pass my feedback to management. I truly appreciate their help! That said, it’s come to my attention that this issue has been going on for several months. I’d hate for anyone else to have a similar experience, so I urge Safeway Management to resolve this as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’d suggest buying refrigerated/frozen items elsewhere and checking all items for freshness before cooking/consumption. Hopefully, this can all be settled soon so customers can have a reliable and safe shopping experience.
Best place to get good deal on Chinese food and fried chicken. Fridays they got their $5 fried chicken deal and Chinese food is good. Pandas is so over priced these days. Most of the workers there are great. There are sketchy people that end up in the store but the workers there are awesome.
Disgusting. The tamatoes are molding. And have FRUIT FLYS IN THEM. I told the worker and he just said " yeah, managament sucks here" never go here. Go to another Safeway.
Went to pick up an Rx, it was quick and ready when we got there. While the fiance and daughter and I were there we decided to get a cake and a cupcake for after dinner. The bakery employee was hilarious and super kind/respectful, she helped us choose what to get since there were so many options. This was all around 5;30pm, everything was still quick and painless, no one was rude, and the lines weren't insanely long.
It's overpriced. The lines are so long. They go all the way to the back of the store. I'm not exaggerating. Other than that though. It's great! They have good sales on ice cream but when I come in here and get two things and I'm in there for 45 minutes. It's hard to leave with a positive thing to say about the place. There's a hot dude that works at self-checkout I noticed, not that that matters... I think the produce here is better than Fred Meyers and definitely better than WinCo's but it's expensive. The fresh pet refrigerated dog food is always good, never spoilt. I just switched my dog to a different food but whenever I got it here it's never been bad like at target
