I ordered flowers for my Aunt's funeral viewing from Darlene. Gave her the discretion to put together an appropriate arrangement. Received many comments about how beautiful they were. Great job Darlene!
I ran into a predicament a week before my wedding. I stopped and seen Darlene, she was so wonderful. She was able to get me 5 beautiful bouquets in time for my wedding! Also she was wonderful enough to provide some extra flowers to add to my wedding cake! So grateful!
Update to review following: Darlene reached out to me promptly and offered her apologies and offered to make things right with a new arrangement of my choice. I have changed the star rating to reflect her eagerness to remedy the situation. With all of that in mind, I believe this is a business I can now recommend without reservation. (Initial review: I received flowers from this shop via pro flowers from my son. They were left on the front porch and we're blown over (mind you they were in a vase of water... No box, no nothing for protection. I understand that if I was not home that they had to leave them but they could have protected them. There were 2 roses in the arrangement and unfortunately they are both in full bloom when delivered and a couple of the bottom pedals were about to fall off already. What a shame because a rose ready to bloom only lasts about a week, I'll be lucky to get a couple of days out of these. Several lillys included have such short stems I can barely keep then touching the water. Besides that, there were a couple of snapdragons (I believe) and they were smashed. Maybe they are short staffed, have product supply problems, etc.etc... There are a million excuses. Regardless, this was a sub adequate product with unacceptable service all for a premium cost. Buyer beware.)
I walked into her store with no appointment needing 4 funeral arrangements for my mother. She sat me down in her comfortable lounge area and we spoke like old friends would. We chatted for at least 25 minutes about what flowers I had in mind. Thank you for taking a sad time for me and offering comfort as well as providing beautiful flowers to honor my mother.
Darlene is easy to work with. When I went to her with my wedding flower ideas, she didn’t disappoint. My first glimpse at her design was a “wow” moment. She exceeded my expectations.
