Hummelstown Flower Shop

I received flowers on Monday. They were so beautiful!! Today is Friday and they still look as beautiful as the day they were delivered! Next time I need flowers I will be going to Hummelstown Flower Shop! First pic is Monday and 2nd pic is today, Friday. No wilted flowers yet!

My wife and I drove down the Main Street in Hummelstown today and decided since we were new in the area we would stop in to visit Hummelstown Flower Shop. The staff were very friendly and polite, and helped show me through their surprisingly wide section of cut flowers for a small bouquet to celebrate my mother’s birthday. After only a minute or two I had a wonderful bouquet of flowers and greens that will certainly look beautiful as a present for my mother. I will most certainly plan to return to get my wife flowers for Valentine’s Day, and will be back in the future for other bouquets and potted plants.

As I truly wanted to refrain from leaving a Bad Review, I feel it needs to be left. I ordered a Sympathy standing floral arrangement for a funeral I attended today and when I tell you I am beyond livid. This floral arrangement was VERY cheap looking and made poorly. There were some areas that looked like there was missing flowers that I had to rearrange to fill in and the quality of the overall flowers was POOR. I called the store to express my concerns with whom referred themselves as the "manager" and instead of asking how she could rectify the situation, she immediately says the 166.00 I paid was because I ordered through a "third party." I ask how it was a third party when I went directly on THEIR Google page and ordered from there. She goes in to saying the "third party" only pays them 99.00 for the arrangement I ordered and how they could range up to 250.00. (what does the price range have to do with what I was given) Trust and believe, I will NEVER support this small business again AND I will let ALL my customers know my experience as well. As a business owner myself, I would take the constructive criticism and make it right. I truly hope that small amount of money was worth losing not just one customer, but a customer that owns venues and orders floral frequently.

We will be sticking with Royers! This was my husbands first time picking a local flower shop and our experience was terrible. My husband chose the Premium option for flowers and what we got looked basic and dreadful. The flowers arrived on our porch UNWRAPPED and the display was downright pitiful. The flowers were cut too short that they, and the fillers, could not reach the water and had already began dying! When my husband called with a complaint, he was told that the reason the flowers did not look like the photo was because the stargazers had not opened yet. My husband and been buying me stargazers and roses 3 times a year for over 10 years. We know what a bouquet should look like! My husband was not offered an apology for false advertisement nor given an option to make it right. It is a shame to rely on such good reviews to make a hopeful purchase only to be let down so painfully. I only pray to save someone else their time, money, and effort.

Outstanding Service & Genuine Kindness! I have to give a huge shoutout to Hummelstown Flower Shop! I walked in at the very last minute needing a bouquet for my teacher and single roses for my classmates. The owner was elbow-deep in flowers working on another order, but instead of turning me away, she stopped what she was doing, took a deep breath, and kindly asked if I could come back in a few hours. When I returned, she had everything ready — a stunning bouquet and all the roses I needed — and all at a very fair price. I gave her full creative freedom, and she nailed it perfectly. Her patience, flexibility, and genuine care meant so much to me. She absolutely didn’t have to help me, but she chose to — and that’s the kind of service that deserves recognition. Highly recommend! I’ll gladly be back again and again. 🌹💐
