I like that they keep the store clean. The staff all seems friendly, approachable, honest and knowledgeable. They also gave a supermarket bank branch with reasonable hours. Wish the prices were better considering they deal with a lot of low income people but this the season to raise prices I guess
Everyone at Stop & Shop were so nice! Especially in the meat, seafood as well as the deli meat section. Everywhere I turned for help, very nice people were there and helped me yesterday, on the mid afternoon shift. Thank you so very much!
Craving beef stew so I stopped into this store since it was along my way home. Grabbed some produce, headed to the meat section. All the packs of stew beef were off color. I happened to glance at some steaks and they had big dark spots on them 🤢 Was gonna just pay for the produce and get meat elsewhere - but then when I went to put the potatoes I bought on the belt, one bag had a hole and they spilled everywhere, and the other had a nearly liquified rotten potato. It got all over my hand, and the stench was enough to ruin any appetite I might have had. Unfortunately this isn’t an isolated incident with this chain as a whole. The number of times I’ve gotten produce that was rotting or food that immediately went moldy, etc. I only go to Stop and Shop as a last resort, but this trip might have been enough to put me off entirely.
Great service at the blank ladies made me feel at home. And made sure I knew all the facts no second thought allowed.
I got open bag of goldfish flavor blasted that we got Wednesday this week didnt know it was open and had a retail sticker on it and until i open it for her to eat but lucky i didnt give to her until i seen a old Receipt in the bag that is really disgusting……
