Whole Foods Market

I had an outstanding experience at Whole Foods Market in Cranston, and this store truly deserves a 5-star review. The managers here run a first-class operation — the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked, and you can tell leadership sets the tone for professionalism and customer care. Every employee I encountered was courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I especially want to recognize Taj in the meat department for going far above and beyond. I was looking for a large grass-fed chuck roast, and instead of just saying they were out, Taj personally went into the back to double-check inventory. He found a box that hadn’t yet been put out, carved a beautiful 6.5+ pound roast for me, expertly tied it, and wrapped it perfectly. That level of effort and pride in workmanship is rare. Taj represents what customer service should be — proactive, professional, and genuinely accommodating. He is an outstanding employee who deserves recognition. Thank you to the entire Cranston team for consistently delivering a top-tier shopping experience. I’ll absolutely be back!

I've been coming here for the past many years and like the location, the variety of options, and the general feel of this store. As Amazon has slowly started changing things, I've noticed far fewer unique small business offerings and a general decrease in breadth of offerings. They also, sometimes, have massive storewide shortages of certain foods based on suppliers they use (see photos from 6/13/25); this is where the breadth of offerings used to insulate Whole Foods more before Amazon took over. Still a great bakery and some top notch cheeses, though. Overall, a good enough store and I plan to continue to use them for my organic purchases.

Best experience this evening, went in to get a few things, looking for a Pomagrante, a whole one. Saw Juan working in the produce section. He said, " Sorry, we don't have any, just the ones already peeled. I said thank you and went on my way to shop, standing at the deli waiting, and all of a sudden I heard, " Ma’am, we do have whole Pomagrante, I was so thankful that he went out of his way to find me! Thank you, Juan in the produce department, you rock!

Good prices, fresh above average produce. They need to train their online order pickers to not drive and look at order tablets at the same time. I was hit by two of them in the same visit. Be careful!

I had said how much I like this location, but some issues today. I picked up Turkey dinner to have day early with my immediate family. First the soup container leaked all in the bag and in my car. Then pan that came with turkey dinner have holes in it and water leaked out of that into stove when reheating. Last, the 11 lb turkey had hardly any white meat on it. The 2 legs with dark meat were big but we got a lot less white meat this year. There wasn't enough for our small family. I guess I will get turkey breast (and probably 2) next holiday.
