Stop & Shop

Sometimes I feel like I’m living in the Truman show when I go here. No matter what time of day or day of week I go there are no ripe avocados. Across the street they always have them. That’s my main gripe with this place. Otherwise the staff are super friendly. Tons of self checkout lanes is a plus. Flower people do a great job. That said, if im having tacos or anything avocado related I’m driving across the street.

Normally no complaints. But why did I just buy some Portuguese sandwich rolls on Thursday and its only Sunday and theyre already molding?? I haven't even opened them yet. I was planning to use them tomorrow. Gross. Check your expiration dates n dont put that stuff on the shelf. Ick.

Not good. Almost as if they r going out of business. Little meat chouces, no steaks, just thin ones and meat and chicken extremely high price compared to shaws or walmart. Muffins had little flavor and major sugar and no sugar free. People friendly. Not goung here any more

If you come here and go to the deli and it’s the white middle aged lady working, be prepared to wait for 30 minutes even if you’re only getting one thing… This lady every time I go to the deli she just takes her sweet old time. Literally one time, I ordered one package of cheese from her and another customer who was next in line got helped by the other worker and ordered cheese and meat and the other customer got his meat AND cheese before she even finished my one thing. She just moves incredibly slow and then will stop what she’s doing to gossip with coworkers, just really has no sense of urgency at all. I truly don’t understand how this lady is allowed to work the deli every time I go there and she’s the one who does my order at the deli it just ruins my shopping experience every time.

I bought this a week ago. And as you can see from the photo it shows the best by date of 5/14/2025. I shouldn’t be consuming a product that’s been sitting on the shelf for well over 4 months.
