I have to agree that this is one of the worst BJ’s in the country. Prices are a higher than Stop & Shop or even Dave’s marketplace in Rhode Island. The staff doesn’t seem to care. I was ordering quite a few deli meats and the gentleman that was helping me was a little bit slow. I had an extensive order, and there was one other person behind the counter, Danielle, who didn’t seem to be doing anything. I asked if you could chip in and help her colleague. There was no one else waiting at the counter to be served. She said she was too busy doing something else. And then a while later when she finished ,whatever she was supposedly doing, she should be prioritizing, helping people at the counter as number one. she went immediately to help somebody that showed up at the counter 10 minutes later. She needs retraining. Also, arguing with the deli manager over placement of cheese is not cool. Do that in private. I took a picture of where they put the chicken from the rotisserie. It doesn’t look like the juices have been cleaned quite a while. It was absolutely bear. I don’t think anyone else is making chicken. The only reason for the two stars is because there was nobody at self checkout! The store was practically empty and only one cashier on duty so the only option was the self service. Considering the prices, the service, and the mostly bear shelves, I’m not surprised. I’ll never renew my membership.
I love shopping at BJ’s for my first time trying Wellesley farms potato salad, the potato salad wasn’t even 10% cooked I have tried potato salad from different stores But the one from BJs was a huge disappointment
I just wanted to leave this review and mention the lovely closing manager Karen for looking at the security cameras for me when I came outside from shopping and noticed my car door was wide open, which scared me I assumed I was robbed and stormed back into the store to ask if they could check the cameras for me, she looked for me with no hesitation and really helped my peace of mind after figuring out my uncle left the door open himself lmao, and to the cart pusher outside named Musa who also reassured me my door was open the whole time! Please give them some brownie points !!! Thank you!
Good for paper goods/waters/sodas. Horrible for produce. We bought these sweet potato’s 3 days ago and this is what they look like as I’m peeling for Thanksgiving. After searching through all of the sad excuse for bags of potato’s I found two.. We purchased both. I inspected carefully and while they weren’t the best, I knew they’d get the job done. Both were already growing mold like this. This isnt even the first time I’ve had an issue with their produce. I don’t know why I even bought these. Lesson learned!!!
I always go to this location and never had a problem but the women with the green pixie was horrible. Typically I go to this location with my step dad and this time I didn’t but I had his card on my phone and her being nosey asked who’s name was on the card which I don’t understand why it’s her busy when regardless it’s my card. Then proceeds to turn me away. Maybe they have some sort of protocol but regardless it’s not your busy to ask who’s name was is on the card but I was already there with my stuff that I was going to purchase and had to leave. And normally they’ll scan cards for people if they’re forgetting but suddenly this is a problem? Update: I purchased my own card and went back. This time a different lane and the same exact women walks up to us in line saying we need an ID. Why do I need and Id? This is a membership establishment? I’d prefer not to be hounded when I’m shopping thank you.
