The store staff was pleasant and the store was clean and all... But unfortunately there's a pretty high markup on most of the products. This is ok for tradesman in a bind, but DIYers/Home owners have to eat this "convenience" cost. Nearly $9 dollars for a gallon of rain-x 2-in-1 windshield washer fluid when it's under $5 at Home Depot, just as an example but it was all products, as far as I saw. The workers get 5 stars, but the price mark up means we lost our Ace unless we want to pay a heavy convenience fee.
Everyone is friendly and strike the balance between being congenial with the current customer while also making sure the next customer is acknoledged and helped as quickly as possible. They are also very helpful in knowing where things are in the store and providing input if requested regarding the right item for the job. The selection in the new store is extensive, and I am glad that I can now shop locally.
This felt so welcoming, as we had been a loyal customer of their Wells ME store. Now living in Richmond it was great to have this well stocked and helpful hardware in our own town!
