Joy was a pleasure to work with for our wedding day. It was truly amazing. All of the florals were exactly how I envisioned them. Her team was also able to transport them to our reception venue so that we could repurpose them as well. That was super helpful when it came to budget. She also was open to discussion on budget and which flowers we could get for better pricing. Overall highly recommend working with FlowerThyme! They were STUNNING.

From the moment we spoke to Joy over the phone we felt an instant connection and knew this was the best choice ever! Joy’s knowledge was evident when we sent her a few photos of what we envisioned for our spring wedding, and she knew exactly what flowers would compliment each other. Joy and her team at FlowerThyme exceeded all expectations for our wedding florals! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the stunning arrangements. From the ceremony arch and entrance staircase to the table centerpieces, bouquets, and our sweetheart table, every floral detail was elegant, timeless, and perfectly aligned with the sophisticated ambiance of our wedding. The flowers also photographed beautifully, adding even more to our special day. One of the standout aspects of working with Joy was her genuine care for her clients. She and her team went above and beyond to help us maximize our budget by creatively repurposing florals between the ceremony and reception. We were able to repurpose many of the florals for our wedding brunch the following day, and even the restaurant staff wanted to know where our flowers were from. Joy’s thoughtful approach ensured we achieved the biggest impact with our arrangements, and we couldn’t have been happier with our flowers on our big day.

Hiring Flowerthyme and Joy was one of the best decisions of my wedding. She was helpful, responsive, flexible, and so easy to work with. Joy at Flowerthyme was an absolute joy to work with. To my surprise, up until I met with Joy, finding a florist was one of the more disheartening tasks in wedding planning. Various florists had ridiculous minimums and when I eventually found florists that did not have minimums, they were unpleasant to work with. The first time meeting with Joy, she said “planning your wedding day florals should be the most fun and stress-free part of wedding planning” ...and she made it so! Joy was responsive, enthusiastic, and both receptive and encouraging when it came to to my vision and preferences. She was flexible and easy to collaborate with via Zoom, text, and email, as I am a D.C. resident and was doing all of my planning remotely. She was patient and understanding with changes. Most importantly, the flowers on my wedding day turned out beautifully. What she delivered was above and beyond what I had even expected or could have dreamed. I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Joy and the outcome of everything on our wedding day. I’d recommend Flowerthyme to anyone looking for a florist in RI.
