I had an excellent experience at Job Lot thanks to their incredible staff. Trish, who I believe is the manager, went above and beyond to help me with my issue. She was friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making sure everything was resolved quickly and smoothly. It’s rare to encounter such personalized service these days, and I’m grateful for her extra effort. Keep up the great work, Job Lot team!
Not a bad location! There are lots of great products for less in here! It's not a massive Job Lot location though. The staff is fairly kind as well. I was able to stock up on some stuff :) The store is a bit messy though. Overall Rating: 8/10 🔥🔥
Uninviting and rude. Young guy at the entrance does not greet you but stops you to warn they are closing in 15 minutes in very unwelcoming tone. As you enter, another older woman who seems to be the store manager warns you again in rude tone you got 15 minutes, again without greeting first. Now we got less than 10 minutes with them stopping us with those annoying reminders! Why don't you just close your store 15 minutes early if you don't need your job! Do not treat customers as if they are inconveniencing you. We know what your store hours are! Instead of congregating at the entrance ready to kick customers out , why not keep your selves busy and put some price stickers on some of your merchandise. Only decent staff there was a young woman at the cashier who helped us check out. Learn to greet your customers first and speak to them in polite tone, regardless of what time they walk in to your store.
Terrible experience!! Came in for water shoes— we live here in the summer, my sister year round. No line, two people open. Seemed to be two managers at the front, one at customer service, quite frankly should have got her name. I go to the next open register, just trying to check out. She comes over and says- I am using this register don’t touch to the cashier. He says okay. So I just look at my daughter and say okay let’s try the other one. She acts as if we aren’t even there… we go to the next one. She moves there with this customer and starts doing whatever she is doing. I finally say excuse me (to the three people working there) “where can I go to check out!” & one lady who is just sitting around says “why don’t you go to the red line.” I said “I ALREADY DID!!” And she just glares at me. So rude. The cashier was very kind he seemed like he was just in high school. Needless to say, I AM NOT RETURNING!! Luckily I don’t live here year round and can do my business elsewhere. Also, my dad laughed when I told him, because he came earlier and asked them for sugar. Like regular sugar. The woman’s response was “We don’t and never have sold it!!!” In a rude manner. My dad is very nice and just reccomended maybe they should since they sell a lot of other baking needs. I couldn’t believe he had dealt with them earlier. Yes it’s busy at times but if someone is being kind, and following the rules, it can’t hurt to be nice or just smile if you don’t want to talk! ✌🏻
Guy yelled "ma'am were closing!!" I asked him what time it was, and he just walked away. After cashing out amd getting to my car, I realized it was only 8:44. They close at 9. As someone who works in a small store, I could never imagine doing that to someone when theres 20 minutes left. Absolutely rude and ridiculous. Will be going to the one in Westerly more, they are a lot more pleasant. They don't act like your existence inconveniences them. If you don't want to work until 9, don't work somewhere that closes at 9? However, they do have an incredible selection of items. I highly recommend the store, but the staff should be getting some warnings from management about their behavior.
