Uptown Gifts is a great little gift shop in Five Points. They carry Nora Fleming and Happy Everything which make great gifts. It’s easy to pop in and shop, but you can also shop online and have shipped or pick up in store. I try to support local shops as much as possible!
Uptown Gifts is absolutely fantastic. I always go there when I need to get stuffers and my gift wrapped; whether it is for a personal gift or a company gift basket. They have tastefully wrapped each gift I've chosen, are reasonably priced and have great customer service. Check 'em out!

Love to visit this store when I am in Columbia. They have a treasure trove of items that make spending time there a wonderful treat. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. I have bought gifts to give and to keep that never fail to bring a smile. Highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area.
I just left Uptown and I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. I have purchased there before in the past but have NEVER received such dismissive customer service. I was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance nor thanked after my purchase. I am not sure if it is because I’m African American because Melissa and her coworker gave the Caucasians customers a friendly experience despite them not buying anything. If you are an African American please think twice before supporting Uptown.
