Capitol City Florist and Gifts

These guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. I recently ordered an arrangement of sympathy flowers, for a family friend. I'm all the way in Alaska so to have Capitol City take care of us the way they did was beyond words. It really meant a lot to the family and myself. Beautiful colors and design. A big thank you!

My husband ordered me flowers from this shop for our anniversary. The flowers were not delivered the time requested (delivered a day early) and the flowers were not as described as online. When I called the shop to express my concerns regarding not only the delivery time requested, but also the fact that my husband spent quite a bit of money on these flowers for me to receive carnations and roses. The response I received was that the shop didn't carry specific flowers offered in some of the online choices. So, what they do is use other flowers to fulfill the total cost of the flowers, in my case, carnations and roses. I would suggest not ordering flowers from this shop or expect to spend more money on cheaper flowers.

I had to rent a jacket for a wedding. Went to the store and the lady at the front desk said the guy that does the measuring was out and to come back later. I told her that I wouldn't be able to come back later, and she went and found him... Weird... while he was taking my measurements, he only took 3. That was confusing, but I've never had to be measured for any clothing, so I didn't think much of it and figured it would be fine. Negative. My jacket fits like garbage. Any movement makes it buckle and fold in weird places. It is uncomfortable and just down right aggravating. My friend who also had to get a jacket fitted explained a very similar experience to me. I would not shop here again,, even with a gun held to my temple. They do not care about their 1 time customers and do not hide that fact

I came to Pierre to visit and while my family and I where here we decided to go see all the little shops and try to support local businesses and the majority were amazing, however at Capital City Floral and Gift, we where treated to something completely different, upon entering the store my family was followed like they where criminals, stopped and asked what they are doing, are you here with anyone else. It was obvious that my wife and kids who are Hispanic were not welcome in this racist store. Please don’t support racism and avoid this store!

This place was so amazing. I had a female friend who was going through a hard time and I ordered an arrangement at the last minute. They didn't only make sure I got them that evening. They took all of my flower ideas and made it beautiful. My friend was so happy seeing and smelling Tiger lillies and star grazers with a few pink roses , they even put it in a travel safe box. I will definitely be buying from them again. Thank you guys for your understanding and wonderful hospitality!
