Humphreys Flowers

They helped me out in a pinch. My wife won an award at her work and I was in a rush to grab-n-go. They had me in-n-out in about 10mins.. and my wife loved the bouquet and thought it was gorgeous! Thank yall again for helping me “wow” my wife on her special day!!

I stopped by just before closing to purchase a pick me up bouquet for $25. It was quick and easy, the service was outstanding! The flowers were stunning and I'm still enjoying them days later. I can't wait to get another bouquet of flowers or arrangements from Humphreys in the future 😍

I’m a third generation gardener. My mother was the founder of the garden club in our community near Annapolis. Her best friend and neighbor was a third generation professional horticulturalist. My mother and her best friend did the flowers at our wedding (held in McDowell Hall at St. John’s College), supplied by her best friend’s daughter who worked at a wholesale florist (cheap!). I served on the board and volunteered at Historic London Town & Gardens. All that to say this: I appreciate good floral design. And when I needed flowers for Valentine’s Day, I looked over the photos on area florists’ Google reviews. You can get a fair idea of their designer’s skill level. And my challenge is that my wife is an awesome flower arranger herself. She takes flowers I grow (she does veggies; I do the ornamental stuff) and gives them to neighbors and church folk shut-ins. So for me, Valentine’s Day is sort of like taking coals to Newcastle. That’s why I chose Humphreys. Their designer shows a confidence and skill level a cut above the others around here. I got a centerpiece for the kitchen table and a bud vase for my wife’s vanity. My wife loved them both—and then she gave the bud vase to a neighbor recently widowed and sorely missing her husband of 60+ years. So I went back to Humphreys today and got another bud vase for my wife, because love does that. And they didn’t charge me for the second bud vase. Because love does that. Happy Valentine’s Day, Humphreys!

Helen Cheek from Humphrey's Flowers did the flowers for our wedding on June 29, 2019. I could not have been more pleased with the entire process and the final results. Helen was super easy to work with. I was not the most educated on flowers when we first began discussing the plan for our wedding, but she helped me walk through the details of what I thought I might like up until the last possible moment that we could. She emailed back and forth with me, looked at the pictures I sent and did her best to get what I wanted. We also got an arch from them that they dressed, and it was reasonably priced. They also did bud vases that I could not get enough of! Everything down to the smallest detail was gorgeous at our wedding (the tables, the arch, my bouquet, the corsages etc.)! And, it was all at an affordable price which I know everyone loves. Thank you so much, Helen!
