I hate to say that I’m totally disappointed with the outcome of the flowers that I bought for my niece’s funeral. My 20yr old niece passed away suddenly. The thought of not being there as she took her last breath and closed her eyes is devastating. She’s my only child’s favorite cousin. That being said her flowers needed to be the best. Her dress and flowers would be the last things, that I would be able to do for her ever again. The day of the wake was the first time we saw the flowers and they were brown on all the pink roses. I put a call to the owner. She asked what did they do to them? I said I don’t know. Thinking what did who do to them. Did she mean Gabriel the funeral home? I wasn’t sure. She then said to me that she didn’t have anymore pink roses like the ones I ordered to change them out. I said I understand but can you at least change the ones you can. I asked her to go and look at them. She said she would. If she did go is unknown to me because I never heard back from her again. My niece funeral was February 10,2024. I purchased a big heart and a small spread for the casket with the bouquet. All the flowers look brown and aged. Unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures for I was and am devastated over the passing of my niece. But I’m sure some family members have more photos. Even though the owner was nice when taking my order, I wish she would have just declined if she didn’t want to do this particular order. My daughter tells me to stop beating myself up over this it’s not easy, but I’m gonna have to try.
My daughter started a new job yesterday and I ordered flowers for her from Harris. I explained what I wanted which was sunflowers and roses. A very tasteful arrangement was delivered today and she loved it. I will definitely trust Carolyn with my floral needs in the future. Thank you.
