Smith's

I was in salt lake for my brother's wedding. I flew in from Missouri. This place has EVERYTHING! I could spend hours in this store. This specific one has a Starbucks in it. A whole selection of nice cheeses. This place is basically a very very nice Walmart. They have literally everything. Staff was friendly and offered help right away. Wish we had one of these in Missouri.

The store was clean and well stocked. I did the self checkout and the attendant came over and bagged my groceries. It was a lovely surprise.

If you want to continuously be disappointed in the staff, products and expectations, then go here! They get two stars for being in a convenient location. This has been my store for 15 years. I loved it but it has just gotten so bad lately with very poor customer service and the produce regularly is rotten the second day you get it home. I use the online ordering service most of the time and almost every single time I end up with expired products or dented cans or already moldy products. I used to take them back to the store, but it’s such a hassle to do that every time I’m just starting to shop elsewhere now. I had to call the store today and I never did get anyone to answer the phone in several different departments. So I called later on in the day same thing let it ring for a very long time. Finally, someone answered But hung right up. I went to the gas station today as well and had to go to the attendants booth to pay. In the middle of helping me, the guy stopped and went to go answer the phone. He didn’t say excuse me or just a minute or anything like that He just went to attend to the phone call rather than asking them to hold, but after a few minutes I was too cold to wait anymore so I ended up leaving and going to Holiday gas station. It’s just gone downhill so much it’s no longer an occasional event to leave wishing I went somewhere else.

You need to avoid this store at all costs. Unless you don't care about you or your family's health and well being. If you don't know, there was a major recall on hillshire farms products. Lot # EST-582 This recall was sent out to every store with those products back on Sep 27, 2025. Yet less than a week ago I purchased jimmy Dean Pancake on a stick. And after seeing on the news there being a recall I took it back to the store. Went back to the shelf, and they still have these things sitting on the shelf. One month later, somebody there's not doing their job and needs to take these recalls seriously. What's it gonna take somebody to get seriously injured and having a lawsuit for you guys to take action!

Just love going to Smiths, a Utah store. This location is a super store, from clothes to garden to outdoors, recreation, and yes even food. Unique as they have baggers for your groceries, a bygone at the blue store, pickup and delivery. Went there to the deli and bought their premade shish kabobs, while there ended up buying some other things I didn't realize I needed.
