Superb design sense permeates this new addition to main street in Bennington Vermont. The decor is both subtle and striking at the same time. Mari, the owner and designer, has a special warmth about her, which infuses her arrangements. The infectious beauty of the shop is worth a journey. But call ahead to be sure she is available.
The shop person was very nice very fast the prices were reasonable, I wanted a few flowers to go along with my lavender for the table. Looks great!

By far the worst Florist I’ve ever used. I paid $70 and picked out a beautiful bouquet online for my sister who just experienced a horrific tragedy. The bouquet that was sent looked nothing like the one I picked out & was 90% cheap filler flowers like baby’s breath (see photos for comparison) and when I called the shop, the florist whose name I believe was Mary (I could be mistaken but started with an M) tried to justify the bouquet she had “personally put together” calling it a “second choice option” at the florists discretion. I am disgusted with this shop.I wanted my sister to have something aesthetically beautiful to help cheer her up so I ordered the “Deluxe” bouquet & the one sent was not even pretty. I used “Fromyouflowers.com” when I ordered and even instructed them to utilize a different florist for the redelivery I requested. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Use ANY other florist besides abuelas. after reading other reviews I’m not the first to say the bouquet was all full of cheap flowers. I had ONE rose in mine. This Florist is a scam & a picture speaks 1,000 words.
Abuelas is the best florist in Bennington. She goes above and beyond for her customers. Her prices can’t be beat. You get great quality and her flowers last for weeks. Her flowers are delivered fresh daily. She started out with her mom the original owner of The Gift Garden in 1975. She continues the legacy of her mom. The current owners of the gift garden want people to think they’ve been making hearts flutter since 1976, this is so far from the truth. Abuelas on Main Street in Bennington has been voted Readers Choice Award #1 Florist 2 years in a row!!! Well deserved. Team Abuelas!!!!
