Sunflower Florist

Been buying my wife’s roses from Sunflower for years. This year something was off. They didn’t last but three days past V day. Several roses never opened. They wilted while closed. Lots of wire strung up the roses to make them appear upright. Never seen wire wrapped around the stems of the roses before. I guess they decided to buy cheaper roses this year. We even replaced the water as recommended. Looks like I’ll have to find a new florist again.

Due to COVID I was not able to attend my brother's funeral in Alexandria. I spoke with Phillip at Sunflower and asked him to put together a special arrangement and deliver it to the church. A relative sent a photo of what Phil came up with and it was beautiful. I recommend Sunflower Florist to anyone in the Alexandria area. CW Bradenton, FL

I ordered an arrangement for my daughter for Christmas/Graduation since she would be hosting us for the weekend. I ordered the Winter Bright Bouquet and upgraded to the better version--I was terribly disappointed to see that the flowers that arrived were not even close to the standard version. I feel that because we were out of town the florist just threw anything together to send. Extremely disappointing and I DO NOT recommend using them. The only thing positive I can say is they delivered quickly. What was ordered versus what was received. EDIT** After dealing with the owner, I am not even giving them 1 star. They lied about the arrangement sent and were rude to my sister and brother in law who recommended them. The owner's negative attitude moved his 1 star rating to a no star rating. We went to Conklyn's Florist and got a BEAUTIFUL Arrangement AND great customer service! I recommend you do the same

We ordered a Casket spray the day before my grandmother's funeral. I was apprehensive that the request wasn't going to be fulfilled in time. However, I still proceeded. I called the store ten minutes before opening, a pleasant gentleman picked up and informed me that the request could be made that same day by the afternoon. The spray matched and looked beautiful on my grandmother's casket. Also to mention is that the spray was half of the price of the same sprays being offered at other local florists in the area. I want to thank Sunflower Florist for the excellent service and care that was provided to our family during a difficult time.

Highly recommend. The flowers I got were amazing and cheaper than other places. They were also available super fast. The florist was really nice and pleasant. It was a pleasure to buy from them. Couldn’t ask for better experience. I found my florist.
