Sage Bridal

I loved visiting Sage Bridal and choosing my dress from there. I felt overwhelmed at the other stores I had been to and honestly felt like I may have to settle. Luckily I didn’t have to, because we found Sage. We were able to have a dedicated session, where Christen was able to narrow down gorgeous gowns to what truly made me feel like a bride. She was super flexible with scheduling as well, which made the process a lot easier (especially when I wanted to get input from family and friends that lived all over the place). 10/10 recommend to any bride in the DMV! Working with Sage Bridal was a dream! I found a beautiful Lillian West gown at a sample sale there. Christen and her team were able to resize the straps and sides for me so that it fit like a glove. She was very communicative and flexible about fitting times, and I got my dress back in plenty of time to spare. At my final fitting, seams on the dress caused me to break out in a rash, but she was able to work her magic so that on the day of my wedding I had no issues at all, and it was actually so comfy it felt like pajamas! Cannot recommend this team enough!

I got my wedding dress from Sage bridal almost completely on accident. I wanted to go to a different bridal shop in Fairfax, got the name wrong, and ended up at Sage bridal on mistake. It ended up being one of the best experiences in planning my wedding. Christen from the beginning was incredibly sweet, personable, and worked to put me in exactly the kind of dress I was looking for. For a smaller shop there is a huge variety of different types of dresses which I very much appreciated! I never felt like I was being overcharged, sold to, and every occasion to come for a fitting or measurements was celebrated. Christen was so good at putting so many personal touches into the store, and really made you feel special every time you came in. The personal one on one service was worth its weight in gold to me. The cost of the dress was very budget friendly, and alterations were also very inexpensive, especially for the DMV area. The store is nothing short of a hidden gem and I recommend it to all of my engaged friends!

I’m so happy that I found my dress at Sage bridal! They were recommended by a friend (as well as Reddit). After visiting another bridal dress boutique, I ended up finding my dress at Sage Bridal. I went in wanting one style, but with the help of the Sage team Christen (sp?), I came out with a Lillian West dress which I never dreamed of wearing because I thought it would be out of my budget. The cost of the dress, small alterations and bustle together ended up being within reason and within my budget! The try-on dress fit like a glove, but was a little long so she recommended to order a petite size and wearing platform heels to avoid the extra cost of hemming. It worked like a charm and I got so many compliments on the dress! Sage Bridal is a gem. They were responsive, kind, honest and efficient. Scheduling appointments was easy (granted I tried to schedule appointments well in advance and to have it at least 2 weeks before the wedding which they graciously accommodated). The boutique was personalized and so sweet. Thank you for being such a pleasure to work with and helping me feel so beautiful on my special day!

After trying on several dresses at several shops, I found myself gravitating towards a dress I first tried on at Sage. It was off the shelf and required extensive tailoring but even with that - it came in under my budget! In addition, the tailoring process (while it did take some time) was easy and the end result was absolutely perfect. I wish I could wear my dress out for special occasions regularly I love it that much. Everyone was so impressed with how well the tailoring came out, it fit me perfectly and looked like it was custom made just for me!
