Beware of Main Street Floral, hiding amongst our community in a hidden corner of Grundy, VA. We ordered a custom flower for my grandmother's funeral and were told to wait two days to pick it up. One day before, however, the flower was already made, set out on the sales floor and sold an identical one to another family member, then the lady sassed my mother to my family, telling them "Some woman came in here and ordered that flower, she never said she'd buy it" (yes we did) "and I don't care if it was president Donald J. Trump, I won't hold it for him either". Then don't tell us you will, don't be a liar and a scammer just to make an extra buck. Our family is in mourning and had been, prior to this incident, bragging about your shop to others. You took something very personal to my mother and our family and used it for profit, to me, you're nothing but scum and hopefully very soon, Main Street Floral will be just another shop of the past so no one else has to experience the poor treatment we did. There are tons of better, prettier and more respectable shops you can visit in Grundy and Haysi, let's give the others some love, shops that truly care about our community and value you and precious family memories as more than a potential sale.
This is the only flower shop in Grundy I would recommend to purchase flowers. The silk flowers I get for my grave vases retain their color for a long time. The live cut flowers are always fresh not gaudy and last for a long time. I have received cut flowers from another shop that are already dead when I get themand have way too much baby's breath, etc to even see the main flowers. I highly recommend them.
Main Street Floral went above and beyond for our family. When the other flower shops were closed due to snow, they came through for us. The flowers were beautiful, too! Highly recommend.
Excellent florist. Excellent personal service. I order from out of state and she still makes no short cuts and makes beautiful arrangement.
It was not a good experience. I ordered 12 red roses for my fiance 3 days before Valentine's day and told them her place of business closed at 5 pm. On Valentine's Day, they called her at 4:50pm and asked if she could wait, there by ruining the surprise and they gave her 6 red and 6 pink. Not to mention for what I paid it was a sad looking bouquet. I do not recommend them at all.
