Cute store, quality flowers, but the staff in the Florist + Gifts were astonishingly rude. I was making a 3rd party delivery a little before noon on Monday, but my order wasn't found on paper. A couple of them were talking about me while I'm standing right there, And ignored me when I answered their questions that they were asking out loud and making eye contact with me while asking the questions. This was one of the floral arrangers, an older woman with blonde hair in her 40s, and then who seem to be the manager of the gifts section of the store- another older woman with brown hair, went to find the order, and seemed like she was rushing me out of the store and like she didn't want to do the order because she couldn't find an order other than one from a different 3rd party company. One of her employees was like want me to make it real quick? Since it was clearly paid for and I had the type and amount of flowers ready. To which the manager replied no to the young man trying to help, and rushed me out of the store. It was seemingly passive aggressive, or like she didn't feel like going through extra steps to find the order. The other employees were silent except the young man who was the only person who seemed he wanted to help me while the others were blatantly ignoring. She even mentioned a different kiosk that sometimes has orders on it, and still was rushing me out when the young man with free time could have made the order. As a former retail manager and trainer with speciaty in customer connection, this was horrific, awkward, and disappointing. Next time I order flower service I know I won't be taking my business here. But thanks to the younger man with blonde hair who actually helped and didn't blatantly ignore me.
Thanks to Gwynn my wedding flowers were one of the best parts of the big day. The process was so smooth- after a few consultations Gwynn was able to execute my vision to PERFECTION. She was extremely knowledgeable and communicative throughout the entire process. If a flower that was part of the original plan was not available, she suggested beautiful alternatives. She truly went above and beyond! I would highly recommend Cross Creek Florist to any bride who wants both an stress-free process along with gorgeous bouquets and floral arrangements!!
Our friend in Calif sent us flowers which came from Cross Creek Florist. We called to thank her and she was surprised the flowers arrived so soon. She said she ordered them just over an hour ago. We sent her a picture of the flowers and she said, "they look exactly like the picture I ordered." We were so pleased we went to the business to thank them. While there I spoke with a florist named Josh. I showed him the picture and he said, "Yes, I made that arrangement." I thank him profusely. We had just lost a pet of 18 years the day before and the flowers were sent to console us in our grief. We have dealt with many florist in our lifetime and are most pleased with Cross Creek Florist.
My sister in RI had Cross Creek Florist deliver a beautiful bouquet of flowers & get well balloons several days ago. They are the most beautiful flowers and I called to say how much I love them. Gwen was the one that made my bouquet. TY Gwen. I will use Cross Creek myself going fwd.
Would not recommend this florist. My daughter sent me flowers for mother's day. The arrangement was pretty sparse. It has 2 stargazer lily blooms that were not bloomed on arrival , one of which never bloomed. I noticed that my counter top was wet beneath it and upon inspection the clear square vase had a large crack the whole way up the side. ***Update Jason reached out and sent a replacement arrangement, which is beautiful. Excellent customer service*** Thank you!
