NEW UPDATE: ordered a bouquet for our daughter-in-law online and the flowers were delivered this morning and they are gorgeous. She is super pleased and so are we. She sent us a photo as soon as they were handed to her. **EDITED TO ADD PHOTO OF OTHER SIDE OF ARRANGEMENT. Second time we have used Morrison’s. Flowers were very fresh and lovely, but I was disappointed in the “florist designed” arrangement. This was the $95 upgraded version and I feel it could have been much nicer. I specifically requested sunflowers and a Fall feel. But the recipient was happy with the arrangement and delivery timeframe was met perfectly.

Over the years I have used Morrison’s as my “go to”florist in Williamsburg. I have never been disappointed in any arrangement, or cut flowers from here. The blooms always are fresh and lasting, arrangements have never disappointed; and recipients are always p;eased with the long lasting arrangements.
I recently ordered a half-casket spray of yellow roses (approximately 2 dozen) for my wife's funeral through Nelsen Funeral Home. Unfortunately, the arrangement fell far short of expectations during such an important and difficult time. At the viewing, the spray appeared to be made with substandard flowers. Many petals showed signs of damage that resembled freezer burn, and the overall appearance was wilted and aged. My daughter, who has professional experience in floral design, observed that the arrangement looked like it had been assembled several days prior and stored in a cooler, rather than being freshly made with quality flowers. Only four roses in the entire spray appeared bright and fresh. Most concerning was that by the day of burial, the spray had been replaced with what appeared to be a completely different arrangement featuring fully opened yellow roses. This substitution was done without notification or explanation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Morrison Flowers. The quality of their work and their business practices during such a sensitive time were unacceptable. Families deserve better service and transparency when honoring their loved ones.
