Food Among The Flowers is hands down the best florist in Charleston, WV. Specifically, Jerry, their head floral guru, does an impeccable job! His creativity is unmatched! In June of 2022, their team designed custom floral pieces around specific flowers for a local non-profit I work at. See picture for reference!
Our family will always choose Food Among the Flowers, Great shopping experience inside with all the seasonal decor I could ever dream of! We also loved our gift basket that was delivered to us! Highly recommend stopping in to see all the beautiful things!
All staff are super friendly and helpful with any need you have. I walk-in and call ahead for arrangements and have never been disappointed in the service nor the product...which there are many to choose from as they provide more than just flowers. Employees will work with the customers vision and within a budget. I am always satisfied with Food Among the Flowers!
DO NOT GO SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED! Since these people are rude and IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with, they have left me no choice than to post about it. I got married a few weeks ago in Charleston. I initially met with Lauren Jackson, the manager, a few months before the wedding. After meeting with her and discussing exactly what I wanted, I felt very confident in them. Fast forward to a week and a half before the wedding, I get a call saying that they have discontinued my flower order due to not paying the down payment. After insisting that I had paid the down payment on time (with the manager might I add) they did some digging and finally found that it had paid on time. Seems like they should have called a little bit sooner than a week and a half before! On the day of the wedding, I got a call from them asking where my wedding was being held. They went to the WRONG VENUE! How?! Once they finally showed up to the correct place, they seemed extremely disorganized and unprepared. I paid for an arch that did not even get properly used due to winds. They did not have a good solution for keeping it standing or to stabilize it. The bridesmaids bouquets essentially had zero blue, even though I specifically wanted blue flowers. The isle arrangements were meant to be for pedestals, but instead they were arranged to be on the ground. I did not receive my bouquet until right before we could start pictures due to their untimely arrival and disorganization. After COUNTLESS mistakes, they never even tried to apologize for any of them. There is no excuse for the amount of stress that they caused me due to their disorganization. I do not recommend wasting your time with them.
Just got this beautiful arrangement delivered today and I was immediately impressed! Hoping they stay this vibrant! They look great on my desk at work and everyone who has seen them has complimented them. Thanks Food Among the Flowers for helping my husband keep his wife happy.
