Three friends ordered a large peace lilly to be delivered on Friday June 20th to Pennington-Smith Funeral home. Was told there were large peace lillys coming Thursday evening. The person that was supposed to be gifted the plant advised us that it wasn’t there at the funeral home. We were NOT notified that it was not delivered. Multiple calls went unanswered today only to finally be told “I don’t know why it wasn’t delivered” and they will refund. What????? That’s the answer. The plant needs to be ready for pickup by the family who had a loss and that was our gift to them. PLUS a refund due to their carelessness. Would not recommend this florist.
A coworker and her husband ordered wind chimes for my mom’s funeral. They were not delivered. When I checked into it, I was told they never got the order. I was told I could pick them up. Since I am out of state, my cousin, who works right next door, went to pick them up. She was told they would have to order some. She checked back numerous times and still wasn’t able to get them. Yesterday, 3 weeks after my mom’s funeral, my aunt died. Lo and behold, there were 2 wind chimes at her funeral. Another cousin texted the flower shop. They told her to tell me to come by that day and get my wind chimes. I went as soon as I could after my aunt’s funeral. It was 1 PM. They were closed. Had to ask my cousin to please keep checking with them. A third cousin ordered flowers for my aunt’s funeral yesterday. They were not delivered.
