The Flower Company

Jolene at the Portage Flower Company is incredible. Called on a whim and within half a hour she had this incredible bouquet made up for me. We are so lucky to have such a great florist in our little town!

My husband sent me this arrangement for our 30th anniversary. They are gorgeous! I got so many compliments on them too. Love the variety of flowers and greenery. He told the lady over the phone what the occasion was and that he wanted it to look full. He was very pleased with what they chose. Would definitely shop with them again!

I lost my aunt this past Wednesday, my place of employment was kind enough to send me an arrangement. On Friday, the flowers were delivered according to whoever the woman from the flower shop was at 5pm. My mother was home at 5pm but was unaware they were delivered and they were just left on my porch. I finally saw the arrangment about 9pm when something else was delivered and I was just getting home from family stuff regarding my loved one. I opened the arrangement and it was dead and soaking wet. I called Saturday morning to let them know them delivered me dead flowers. Begrudgingly the woman said she would deliver replacement flowers. She gets to my house, rings the doorbell, says a brief hi and follows it up with she will take the other flowers back, and my dogs are pretty, no apology, no I am sorry for delivering dead flowers after your family member died. She proceeds to ask me if I saw the tire tracks which in her mind indicates that I should have known a package was delivered. I told her that I drive through that portion of my driveway so I wouldn't have known. I couldn't believe she was trying to insinuate it was my fault for her delivering me dead flowers. They were outside for 4 hours, without anyone knowing they were out there. I thanked her for delivering a replacement and she said it's fine it was a mistake, turns around, gets in her vehicle and leaves. She was rude and short with me and that is something that is unacceptable to me when a person is delivering flowers that were offered in condolence to a grieving family. Just for reference there is a picture of the dead flowers. Apparently, all it takes is 4 hours for them to be reduced to shriveled up nothingness.

I went into flower company completely lost explained my situation and a very nice lady jumped right in and helped me choose the best arrangement and then jazzed it up a bit so beautifully might I add with a beach setting for the person receiving it she absolutely love it so thank u over all the best experience I have had at a flower shop u have a costumer for life.

It was my daughter's birthday so I stopped to pick her up some flowers for her birthday. The lady made up a very nice arrangement. It lasted o er 3 weeks.
